"The Specialist" CJ Otis Height: 5'11" Finishers: Fisherman Suplex, Lariat, Saito Suplex Pro Debut: July 2003 The young CJ Otis is a heavy-hitter trained by the legendary Sabu. CJ tackles his opposition with a combination of power moves, mat-grappling, and thunderous strikes. At only 22 years of age, CJ has a vast amount of experience, competing for IWA Mid South, Steve Corino's Pro Wrestling World-1, as well as the debut show for PWElite in New Jersey.CJ was crowned as the first HPW Champion by winning the inaugural HPW Championship Tournament. In it, he defeated Orlando Colon, Jack Thriller, and Frankie The Face. His first defense came in a rematch against Frankie at Phase: One. At the same event, CJ caught the eye of wrestling manager Mark Pennington, and over the following few weeks, seemingly enlisted his services as a manager. CJ's next challenger for the title was "The Bloody" Harker Dirge. CJ retained the belt in a hard-fought victory over Dirge at Raising The Bar, but after the match, CJ has his eye injured by his challenger! CJ was forced to unleash a brutal side we hadn't seen before at Amplified in a First Blood Match against Dirge, busting his opponent wide open and successfully defending his title. With an array of finishing manuevers in his arsenal, and Mark Pennington keeping an outlook on his business matters, CJ Otis continues to dominate in Hybrid Pro Wrestling. |
